An extravagant pair of Antique Victorian drop earrings from the late 19th Century featuring two large boule shaped galleries encrusted with faceted Garnets and three larger stones at the top set out in the shape of a three-leaf clover.
Garnet has been adored throughout history for its blazing red colour which hides beneath its dark surface. It is said to be a stone of purity, truth and a symbol of love and compassion.
The earrings are fashioned in 9ct Yellow Gold and fitted with long shepherd hook wires. They look spectacular dangling from each ear and boast a fabulous array of Garnets that glisten beautifully when they catch the light.
