This is an antique Japanese Meiji era c1870’s ceramic bowl. It’s all hand painted in a cherry blossom motif inside and outside. The bowl is formed with slight scalloping suggesting the five petals of the sakura cherry flowers.
Made of high fired ceramic for long term strength and durability. A collectible art piece or even an elegant serving bowl.
